Polly has
been married to Paul since 2003. She has 2 children. Her fondest memory was
walking home
(actually
gabbing more than walking) from school
with Margot C., Carolyn Y, Nancy G, Sandy W,
Sandy C, Kiki and others. Lots of laughter and
conversation. She is
Director of the Employee
Assistant Program at the University of Maine (Orono).
She had a very fulfilling life with the full
spectrum of
human emotions. She's blessed with a fabulous husband (second) and two
terrific kids.
She use to
tell her kids not to feel they needed to live in Maine because that is where
their parents
live, that
the world is their oasis and to go wherever they want. Well, now she is
eating her words as
George lives
with his wonderful wife in San Diego and Alexis (in a serious relationship)
lives in
Denver. Great
cities but very far away! The first phase of her adult life centered around
family and
sailing,
including living aboard their boat in Greece in the summers. She really got
in touch with her
heritage. Besides, going to the Greek islands was incredible. Her next phase
could be called
transition
(divorce)...and that was "very tough, to say the least", but well worth the
process when
she finally
got to the other side. This third phase, now, is a combination of a
resurgence of love,
aches and
pains, looking in the mirror and saying, "Do I really look like that???",
and more foreign
travel to
various continents. She is starting to think about retirement, and this time
with excitement!
She was very disappointed that she would not be able to reconnect with many
of her classmates for
the reunion and wanted us to all have a fabulous time and dance hard for
her!

Tom’s
fondest memories are tough to address since most memories
have faded.
Possibly his time with the band, playing at football
games,
exchange concerts, etc. as his love of music led him, at the
time, to
apply to college as a music major, thinking he’d become a
musician and
perhaps a music teacher. At Denver University Tom
switched from
music to business and over the years has worked in
the building
industry, hospitality, real estate development, and
finance.
During those years his MBA was earned at the University
of New
Hampshire. He never cared to marry or raise children so he had the freedom
to live as he
wished. About
25 years ago he bought a large piece of land, named it Secret
Pond, and created his
paradise where he enjoys gardening, boating, and the
simple joy of living. A
long time bachelor friend
joined him a few years ago and they share their
companionship, along with traveling and entertaining
family and
friends.

been on the market for 15
months so they were in the process of moving.
He was very sorry that he
could not make it since they both were really looking
